We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist with a particular interest in fertility to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals optimize their health and fertility through personalized nutrition and lifestyle interventions. The candidate should have experience in reading basic labs, hormone labs, and functional testing. Being certified by IFM (IFMCP) is considered a significant bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

Nutritional Counseling:
Provide coaching and nutritional counseling to individuals or couples seeking fertility support.  This includes coaching on diet and lifestyle modifications, and customizing plans based on individual needs and dietary restrictions.
Educate clients on the importance of nutrition and lifestyle factors in optimizing fertility outcomes.
Functional Testing:
Review and interpret basic labs, hormone labs, and functional testing to identify underlying health imbalances that may affect fertility.
Utilize functional testing results to inform nutrition and lifestyle interventions, aiming to improve fertility outcomes.
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in functional testing related to fertility.
Program Development:
Contribute to the development and enhancement of our fertility program, incorporating the latest evidence-based nutritional and lifestyle interventions.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to fertility support.
Assist in the creation of educational materials, resources, and workshops for clients and staff.
Client Support:
Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout their fertility journey, adjusting nutrition and lifestyle plans as necessary.
Monitor and track client progress, making modifications as needed to optimize outcomes.
Offer compassionate and empathetic support to individuals or couples struggling with fertility issues.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure an integrated approach to fertility support.
Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment plans.
Foster a collaborative and supportive environment to enhance the overall client experience.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with fertility clients is preferred.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting basic labs, hormone labs, and functional testing.
Strong knowledge of nutrition, particularly as it relates to fertility and reproductive health.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
IFMCP (Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner) certification is a significant bonus.
